Joost starts again - this time as a website

Joost is one of the most well known startups on internet television. Some time ago the company announced that they were gonna change the way it works and you will not need a stand alone client to view it's channels, it will work though a flash web-based application. Finally, the new version is here, a little earlier than what we expected.

Perhaps the new CBS-Youtube deal caused some panic to the company. CBS is one of Joost biggest video providers. That might forced them to start their new website some days ealrier than the expected.

However, Joost is still a very interesting video on demant service that uses social networking services in a very nice way. Users can make their own channels, comment on the shows or rate them, communicate etc...
