Damn Small Linux
Free computer operating system distribution designed to run graphical applications with minimum computer resources. Also known as DSL or DSLinux (but not to be confused with DS Linux, a distribution for the Nintendo DS), Damn Small Linux was originally conceived to run on lower specification systems, including computers which would otherwise not be usable. The distribution contrasts to most other Linux distributions by ranking the size of programs above other considerations. Developers state that it will never grow larger than a 50 MB ISO.Due to the small size of the complete distribution, it will run on smaller storage devices than most other operating systems, including bootable business card, 64 MB USB flash drive, CompactFlash card (through IDE connector) and ZIP drive.
